Mission Statement

Women in Health Sciences (WIHS) builds a campus where women in Health Sciences are seen, supported, and empowered. We create high-impact workshops and mentoring, strengthen partnerships with Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and elevate our presence with campus leadership so our members have the resources, recognition, and community they need to grow and lead.

Goals

The goals of the Women in Health Sciences (WIHS) Committee are to advance career development; strengthen leadership among faculty and trainees through speaker series and workshops; expand networking opportunities; and celebrate the accomplishments of women faculty at UC San Diego.
